Trackin’ Trucks: Corey Heim Wins at New Hampshire

Corey Heim earned his ninth NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory of the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He swept both stages of the Team EJP 175 and led 124 of the 175 laps.

Heim held off Chandler Smith by 0.823 seconds, effectively eliminating Smith from advancing to the next round of the Truck Series Playoffs.

Additionally, Heim tied Greg Biffle’s record for most wins in a single Truck Series season.

“It’s a dream come true to be able to race with these guys,” Heim said of his Tricon Garage team. “Seems like everywhere we go this year, we’re a contender or we win, so I just can’t say enough about those guys.

“But got to keep it going,” he said. “Still have four more races left [this year] and want to break that [single-season wins] record. Shout out to Greg Biffle. He’s a great dude.

“Dream year for me personally and just have to keep it going. It’s awesome! Gotta keep the ball rolling.”

Layne Riggs finished third, while Gio Ruggiero and Ty Majeski rounded out the top five.

Grant Enfinger finished sixth, and Kaden Honeycutt was seventh, while Corey LaJoie, Christian Eckes, and Rajah Caruth finished eighth through 10th place, respectively.

The Round of 8 field was set after eliminating two drivers from advancing and continuing to compete for the series championship. Heim, Riggs, Majeski, Enfinger, Honeycutt, Caruth, Tyler Ankrum, and Daniel Hemric all advance. Smith and Jake Garcia were eliminated. Garcia finished in the 16th position.

A Look Ahead into the Playoffs

The Craftsman Truck Series kicks off the second round of the playoffs at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval on Friday, October 3rd.

Heim leads Riggs in the playoffs standings by 47 points. The series has three races before the Final 4 are set for the championship race.
