Jeff Gordon to appear on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Jeff Gordon is helping build a house with the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew this week. Derrick and Amanda Suggs of Loris, S.C. were greeted by Ty Pennington and the Makeover team this morning, where they learned that the 4-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion would be helping with the reconstruction of their new home.
The Suggs have two children of their own, plus the couple has adopted Amanda’s three younger brothers to prevent them from being separated in foster care. The house they live in now was built in 1953 and is in need of many repairs.
Now, thanks to Pennington, Gordon, and the team, the Suggs will have a new home to call their own by the end of the week.
