A few weeks back we mentioned that Michael McDowell had found a full time ride in the Nationwide Series with McDonald Motorsports. Today we learned via a Facebook and Twitter message that McDriver (that's what his Twitter followers know him as) has found a full time Sprint Cup ride for 2010.
McDowell posted on the following message via Twitter:
McD fans hear it first from the world of social media. McD has signed with Prism Motorsports to run full time in the #55 Sprint Cup Series
While very few additional details concerning the deal have been released it's great to see another driver get a full time ride for 2010.

He's definitely a nice person and it's great that he got a sponsorship. If the smaller teams can find funding, maybe there's hope for the larger teams, i.e. RCR...
