Scott Speed Makes Baby Announcement Via Twitter

Anyone have Scott Speed as the next driver to announce an upcoming birth? If you did then you are a winner. While Speed’s racing career might be in limbo he was happy to announce on Twitter today that he and his wife Amanda are expecting their first child.

Scott’s Tweet of :

Look what we made!!!! HE! Stress the word HE.. Lol is only .33cm long but he growin ;)http://plixi.com/p/75956718

was later followed by confirmation from wife Amanda who said,

Well I guess @scottspeed put the word out... Yes, I am pregnant!!!! We r very excited!!!!!!!

The couple, who often communicate with fans and each other via Twitter, married in the Summer of 2009. Scott, who was released from Red Bull in late 2010 has no other children while Amanda has a son Rex from a previous relationship.

The entire Skirts and Scuffs team would like to congratulate this fun-loving couple on the upcoming birth.
