Pole Report: NNS Royal Purple 300 at Auto Club Speedway

 After a Friday full of rain and delays, Saturday the Nationwide Series was able to qualify under mostly sunny skies.

Carl Edwards, who paced Friday's practice with the quickest time, backed up his speed by winning the pole for today's Royal Purple 300. Edwards, with a time of  41.181 seconds (174.838 mph) will start beside fellow double duty driver, Kevin Harvick.
