Driver to watch for: Camping World Truck Series WinStar Casino 400k
This weekend, the NCWTS is in Texas instead of Pocono. With the Sprint Cup series being in Pocono this weekend, the truck drivers racing tonight are all regulars with no competition from Cup drivers or their owners.
You can watch tonight's race on SPEED TV at 9 P.M. ET.
Andrews was raised in racing and he knew he wanted to be behind the wheel when he grew up. His father is Paul Andrews, a NASCAR Sprint Cup champion crew chief with Alan Kulwicki. Andrews started to race at the age of 12 in go-kart's and it's been uphill from there. His resume includes:
World Karting Association
Bandeleros and Legends
NASCAR Weekly Racing Late Models at tracks such as South Boston Va.; Speedway, Hickory, NC Motor Speedway, Concord, NC Motorsport Park and Martinsville, Va. Speedway.
His first career victory was in Camping World East at Dover International Speedway.
He continued his career by racing in the ARCA Series and raced in the Nationwide Series. Right now, Andrews is working on furthering his career in Nationwide, he will race in the Nationwide Series next weekend in Michigan.
*Note: A focus was put on Tim Andrews (following up on our breaking news last week) and we feel that although he was faced with tough circumstances, he chose not to give up when the deck was stacked against him.
