Do you want to know what it feels like to be a part of winning 3 million dollars? Here is your chance.

Starting at the Brickyard, Sprint will be hosting the Summer Showdown to promote the new HTC EVO 3D cell phone and what better way to do it then to give a driver and fan a chance to win a million dollars and a chance to donate one million to the drivers favorite charity, the winner will be awarded the money in Atlanta.

Here’s how the game is played:
For the next five races, Indy to Bristol, fans may pick a driver to win the race. From all fans that are correct, Sprint will draw a lucky winner to join the driver in the final race of the showdown in Atlanta. If the driver wins Atlanta, Sprint will divide the 3 million dollars between the driver, the charity of that driver and to the winning fan. That is one million each.

The tracks chosen have their own characteristics, the Indy Brickyard is a 2.5 mile oval, then there’s the tricky triangle in Pocono, Watkins Glen is a road course, Michigan is a 2 mile D shaped oval, Bristol the blender and Atlanta is the 1.5 mile track. Drivers who do succeed on these courses have to adapt to significant changes that truly showcase their driving skills.

Fans have the chance to enter each week before the beginning of the race, you can pick one driver for all five races or change your driver.

If a driver gets lucky and wins two races, he'll have two fans join him in Atlanta, and, if the driver with two fans wins Atlanta, the fans get to split the million dollars.

"It's always great to win, but to make a difference in the lives of other people by doing so is why I'm excited about the Sprint Summer Showdown," said Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion. "The fans are what make this sport, and helping charities accomplish their goals is extremely important to me. I'm hoping I'm the guy that gets to hand over $1 million to some lucky fan and to charity. I'll do everything I can to make it happen." Carl Edwards has won at four of the tracks in the showdown in 2008 alone and will be a driver to watch in the Sprint Summer Showdown.
