JR Motorsports is Fired Up for night racing in Bristol!
Hot News of the week:
Danica Patrick signed a contract with JR Motorsports for a full time season in 2012. She is also racing a part time schedule in the Cup Series for Stewart Hass Racing.
To win the hat in the video, the answer to the question is in one of mine or Rebecca Kivak's article about Patrick. I'm doing that because I want the winner to be a real Skirts and Scuffs fan, someone who does enjoy to read our articles by choice.
Question: Patrick is the only woman to have won a major open wheel race, where did she win it? You have until the end of Saturday night's Bristol race to answer the question and if more than one person answers correctly, winner will be randomly selected.
Patrick did race in Bristol last March in her No. GoDaddy.com car and did not finish the race after a collision with Ryan Truex.
Patrick is not racing at Bristol this weekend, instead she is racing in her Indy car in Sonoma, California.
Josh Wise finished 29th in Montreal last Saturday, tonight he's back in JR Motorsports No. 7 Taxslayer.com car. The last time Wise raced in the Taxslayer.com car was in Iowa and he finished in fourth position. In 12 starts with JRM, Wise has one top five, three top tens and six top 15s. In the three starts he's had in Bristol, he's best finish is in 15th.
Aric Almirola is back in the No. 88 Degree Men Chevrolet and this weeks paint scheme is a flashy black and gold design.
Almirola's last visit to Bristol was in March in the No. 88 car. He finished 10th; his second top ten in Bristol.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. did race the Taxslayer.com Chevrolet last March and finished third, tonight he is not racing in the Nationwide race but will be driving a special paint schemed Chevrolet for the Sprint Cup Series. In regards to the comment I made in the video about where Dale Jr. lives, you can try to find him at either the Whisky River in the EpiCentre in Uptown, Charlotte, NC or at the JR Motorsports shop in Moorseville, NC.
