Kevin Harvick added fuel to the fire in his ongoing feud with Kyle Busch on Friday morning. Harvick was talking to the media and said that Busch “might get his butt whipped again.”

Busch, who had a physical altercation with Harvick in May at Darlington, tangled with Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) driver Elliott Sadler during the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Bristol Wednesday evening.

Busch spun Sadler, who was competing in the truck race for team owner Joe Dennette, just past the midpoint of the race following contact between the two just a few laps earlier.

“He ran into me three times prior in the race and then spun me out down the backstretch - he hooked me so I wrecked him,” Busch said.

Busch believes his problems with Sadler during the O’Reilly 400 stemmed from his feud with Harvick, who owns Sadler’s NASCAR Nationwide Series team.

“The guy is paid by KHI, so what do you think?” Busch said after the race.

Harvick went after Busch on pit road at Darlington after Busch hit his truck during the race. A few weeks later, Richard Childress punched Busch in the garage at Kansas Speedway after Busch wrecked one of RCR’s NASCAR trucks, which was driven by Joey Coulter.

Harvick was asked about the incident with Sadler and if he had talked to Busch or expected any repercussions. Harvick warned Busch that he may be more payback coming.

Harvick said “First of all, I don’t have any reason to talk to Kyle. I wasn’t even involved in any portion of the incident. You would hope that he went back and watched the race. The first thing that happened was that he shoved Sadler up the race track and then he got mad because Elliott ran into the back of him, and then he drove over the front of him and wrecked himself.”

Harvick later went on to say, “Old Kyle, I guess, showed up this week and really laid into the fact that he was kinda pouting because he was getting his butt whipped, I guess.”

He then collected his thoughts and added: “If he keeps running his mouth, he might get it whipped again off the track.”
