TV programming note on tonight's Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol on ABC

With the threat of Hurricane Irene hanging over much of the East Coast, tonight's Irwin Tools Night Race in the Sprint Cup Series at Bristol Motor Speedway will air live on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET as regularly scheduled.

In a release today, ESPN announced that if local ABC affiliates need to leave the race broadcast for breaking news updates on Hurricane Irene, local stations will inform viewers where to tune in to watch the race.

The green flag for the Irwin Tools Night Race is set for 7:43 p.m. ET.
