Gordon, Harvick, Bayne top Lionel NASCAR Collectibles for 2011

Fresh-faced Trevor Bayne put the Wood Brothers' No. 21 Ford back in victory lane with his amazing win in the 2011 Daytona 500, and he vaulted that classic Ford Motorcraft David Pearson-Retro design to third place in Lionel NASCAR Collectables' top 10 list released Monday.

Jeff Gordon's No. 24 AARP/Drive to End  Hunger Chevrolet design topped the list of best-selling NASCAR collectibles for 2011, followed by Kevin Harvick's No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet.

But wait...isn't Dale Earnhardt Jr. supposed to be the king of collectibles? Never fear, Jr. is well-represented in the top 10 with three versions of his No. 88 Chevrolet: Amp Energy, National Guard, and Dale Jr. Foundation/Vh1 Save the Music Chevrolet.

Tony Stewart's march through the Chase likely helped him clinch two spots in the top 10 while Harvick's military tribute theme garnered him a second slot on the list.

And the Intimidator proved he's still a fan favorite. The No. 96 Dale Earnhardt Cardinal Tractor Ford, introduced this July with the debut of the company’s NASCAR Classics line of historical die-casts which have never before been made, was sixth.

This Dale Earnhardt Sr. Cardinal Tractor diecast ranks in at No. 6
on the Lionel list of top-sellers for 2011.
