NSCS Pole Report: Marcos Ambrose wins track record, first pole



Marcos Ambrose is the new track record holder and officially the fastest man in NASCAR after his qualifying run Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. Ambrose’s incredible lap was 35.42 seconds at 203.241 mph. This is Ambrose’s first Sprint Cup Series pole. Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Kasey Kahne, and Ryan Newman round out the top-5 for Sunday’s race.
