Donny Schatz is easily one of the most prolific drivers in the World of Outlaw series in the modern era of racing. His uncanny ability to start at the rear and work his way to the front consistently is a trait that many envy and few can duplicate. Schatz has won six Knoxville National Titles in the last seven attempts and has claimed virtually every big race on the Outlaws tour.

Prolific on both small and long tracks, Schatz claimed his fifth series title in 2012. Although the 2012 season started as a bumpy ride it was Schatz’s unmatched consistency down the stretch, eight wins, 20 podiums and 24 top fives in a 27-race span through October, that earned him his fifth World of Outlaws championship and first since claiming four straight from 2006-09, a landmark that made him one of only two drivers to win four consecutive titles.

Donny began his sixth season with Tony Stewart Racing in 2013 by sweeping the Winter Challenge at Bubba Raceway Park with rare appearances in the American Sprint car Circuit of Champions series by winning on back to back nights in his STP Chevy Performance powered No. 15 and is looking to defend his 2012 Championship in 2013 by adding a 6th championship to his resume.
