The Likely Suspects: Short-track racing at Martinsville is always a fan-pleaser. Some drivers who take to this style of racing include Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart. I would be remiss not to mention that Denny Hamlin is usually pretty awesome here, but this will be his first race sitting out due to the injuries incurred at Fontana. Mark Martin will be in the No. 11 car. Keep in mind he would be a good pick this week for two reasons: 1) he is usually no worse than 10th place here, and 2) he will be running in a top-tier car.

My 2 Cents: My no-brainer pick this week is a three-way tie: Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch. If you see Jimmie Johnson's car simply glide on the track you better pick him. When his car is hooked up here he is hard to beat, and it is a thing of beauty.

My next picks are Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin and Martin Truex Jr. I will complete my team with Casey Mears and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
