Travel Tips: Martinsville Speedway

Martinsville Speedway, which is nestled in Henry County, Va., will play host to both the NASCAR Camping World Truck and Sprint Cup Series. After an off-weekend due to the Easter holiday weekend, the drivers are ready to tackle the shortest track on the circuit.
The reigning winners for both series at this track are Denny Hamlin (Camping World Truck) and five-time Cup champion Jimmie Johnson (Sprint Cup). Unfortunately, Hamlin will not be able to race in either series because of the back injury that he sustained on the last lap of the Auto Club 500 in Fontana approximately two weeks ago.

This week’s Travel Tips will give you links to a suggested list of local attractions, restaurants and track activities going on throughout the weekend.

Enjoy, race fans!
