The Nationwide Series visits another road course, Mid-Ohio
Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, this weekend, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 15-16
for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200. The Trans-Am Series is also on the
schedule for the weekend.
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a
permanent road course with two configurations: a 2.4-mile, 15-turn track and a
2.25-mile, 13-turn track. The historic track hosts a variety of events each
year, including motorcycle racing, vintage sports car racing, the TUDOR United
SportsCar Championship and the Verizon IndyCar Series. It is also home to the
Mid-Ohio School, which offers licensed drivers and motorcycle riders
programs in defensive driving and high performance driving, as well as
performance track riding programs.
Fans in attendance can participate in a Nationwide Series autograph
session on Friday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. ET. The Trans-Am Series autograph session
is Saturday morning from 9:30-10:15 a.m. ET.

- Trans-Am practice – 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. ET
- Nationwide Series practice –1:30 and 3 p.m. ET
- Trans-Am qualifying – 4:45 p.m. ET
Saturday, August 16 –
- Nationwide Series qualifying – 9:40 a.m. ET
- Trans-Am race – noon ET
- Nationwide Series Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 – 2:45 p.m. ET
