Camping World Truck Series driver Jennifer Jo Cobb has become one of the most successful female racers in NASCAR, having set numerous records in her eight years as a driver in the series. Learn more about this owner/driver in this updated Fast Facts, which was originally published in Nov. 2011.
  • Jennifer Jo Cobb was born June 12, 1973 in Kansas City, KS. Her father, Joe Cobb, raced modifieds at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, which is where Cobb made her racing debut in 1991.
  • In 2002, Cobb made her ARCA debut, followed by her NASCAR debut in the Busch (now Xfinity) Series in 2004. In 2008, she made her first Truck Series start; in 2010, she competed full-time in the series after purchasing the assets of Rick Crawford’s No. 10 truck team. She went on to finish 17th in final points in the Truck Series, the highest-ranking female points finisher in  any of NASCAR’s top three series at the time.
  • In 2011, Cobb split her time between the Truck Series and Nationwide (now Xfinity) Series. At Daytona International Speedway in February, she posted a sixth-place finish in the Truck Series race, the highest finish by a woman in the series’ history.
  • Since 2012, Cobb has raced in the Truck Series full-time with her own Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing team. In 2014, she finished 16th in points, besting her previous record of 17th as the highest-ranking female points finisher in NASCAR’s top three divisions.
  • Off the track, Cobb has co-hosted motorsports television programs and is a successful public speaker. She is also the owner of Driver Boutique and Driven Male, clothing lines for women and men that are now available at the online shop Driven Swag. She is also the force behind Driven2Honor, which honors America’s military women.
