Travel Tips: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course – Aug. 14-15, 2015

The Xfinity Series visits Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in
Lexington, OH, this weekend, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 14-15 for the Nationwide
Children’s Hospital 200. The Trans-Am Series and Pirelli World Challenge are
also on the schedule for the weekend.
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a
permanent road course with two configurations -- a 2.4-mile 15-turn track and a
2.25-mile 13-turn track. The historic venue hosts a variety of events each
year, including motorcycle racing, vintage sports car racing and the Verizon
IndyCar Series. It is also home to the Mid-Ohio School, which offers
licensed drivers and motorcycle riders programs in defensive driving and high
performance driving, as well as performance track riding programs.
Fans in attendance can check out three autograph sessions on
Friday. The Xfinity Series autograph session is from noon to 12:45 p.m. ET in
the tent on the Bluff; the Trans-Am Series autograph session is from 12:40 to
1:20 p.m. ET in the Upper Paddock; and the Pirelli World Challenge autograph session
takes place from 2 to 2:45 p.m. ET in the infield.

- Trans-Am race No. 1 – 4:45 p.m. ET
Saturday, August 15 –
- Pirelli World Challenge Race No. 3 – 9:45 a.m. ET
- Xfinity Series qualifying – 11:15 a.m. ET
- Trans-Am race No. 2 – 12:50 p.m. ET
- Xfinity Series Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 – 3:30 p.m. ET
