Brett Moffitt earned his fourth win of the season and second straight of the Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Ontario, Canada.
Moffitt won from the pole position on Sunday, August 25th during the Chevrolet Silverado 250. He led 44 of 64 laps at the 2.459-mile track.
“I just feel like everyone at GMS all the way back from the fab shop on up has been doing a better job,’’ Moffitt said. “Our team personally has been communicating a lot better and just knowing what my words mean and what I need to find in the truck, I’d say we’re hitting our stride at the right time.”
Canadian native Alex Tagliani finished second driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports.
Ben Rhodes finished third, while Sheldon Creed and Austin Hill rounded out the top five.
Johnny Sauter finished sixth, Stewart Friesen battled from starting last to finish seventh, while Ross Chastain, Tyler Ankrum, and Raphael Lessard completed the top 10.
Dan Corcoran brought out the only caution for race-related action. Corcoran spun in Turn 4 on Lap 30. He finished 27th.
Harrison Burton was running in the top five when he suffered a blown motor in the final laps. He finished 21st.
