Despite the fact that she lives only 20 minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway, Logan had never set foot inside it until May 2014. As the public relations manager for a large Charlotte-based orthopedic group that provides medical care to many of the NASCAR teams, she found herself immersed in the sport and quickly became a fan. She randomly discovered Skirts and Scuffs on the internet, and the rest was history.

Logan writes the Rookie Stripe column, and as the name suggests, her writing is geared toward new race followers that want to learn more about the sport. Through Rookie Stripe she hopes to examine elements of NASCAR familiar to those who have been around racing for many years and simplify them for newer fans.
