NNS Pole Report: Danica Patrick wins pole for Nationwide Series

The winner of the pole is a surprising one for the Drive4COPD 300 at Dayota International Speedway. It was none other than Danica Patrick. She set a speed of 182.741 with a time of 49.25 for the series opener. This is Patrick’s first series and first NASCAR pole. Starting on the outside pole is 2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne.
